What sheet metal fabrication capabilities are available in-house?

Our sheet metal fabrication capability includes laser cutting, turret punching, CNC bending, welding and powder coating for repeat OEM manufacture.

Do you only work from customer-supplied drawings?

We regularly work from customer drawings, but we can also assist with refining designs for manufacturability. Where needed, we’ll review tolerances, materials, and forming sequences to ensure parts can be produced reliably at scale.

Is this service suited to one-off parts or repeat production?

Our processes are designed for repeat OEM production. While we can prototype and validate parts, our strength is in supplying approved components on an ongoing basis.

What volumes do you typically manufacture?

We support a wide range of volumes, from smaller recurring batches through to higher-volume production. What matters most is that the part is designed for repeat manufacture.

Can you support design changes once production has started?

Yes. Where changes are required, we assess the impact on tooling, processes, and tolerances before implementing them, so production remains controlled and predictable.

How do you ensure consistency across repeat orders?

Once a design is approved, production parameters are locked in. This includes materials, bend sequences, weld methods, and finishing processes to ensure parts are consistent from batch to batch.

Do you handle finishing in-house?

Yes. Powder coating is integrated into our production workflow, allowing finished components to move directly from fabrication to dispatch while maintaining quality control.

When should we engage you in the process?

Earlier is usually better. Involving us before designs are finalised allows potential manufacturing issues to be addressed upfront and helps avoid rework later.

Do you produce prototypes before full production?

Yes. Prototyping is a normal part of our process for custom and OEM components. Where required, we produce prototype or pre-production samples to confirm fit, function, and manufacturability before moving into repeat production.
This allows designs to be validated early and ensures approved parts can be manufactured reliably, batch after batch.

Manufacturing responsibly

Our Melbourne facility is largely powered by rooftop solar and we catch and reuse rainwater onsite to reduce environmental impact.
